ADDITIONAL FACTS
In 2011, Hanyu was training in the Miyagi area in Japan when the earthquake hit. The rink was destroyed and his home was damaged, so he had to spend four days in an emergency evacuation center.
All the Winnie the Poohs thrown onto the ice after Hanyu's performances are donated to local charities.
